Other than teaching I have made use of my graphic design skills in various softwares as a Freelance Designer. Working with corporatations, schools, educational institutes and businesses to design to their specification briefs. Below you will find a portfolio of my work experience as a freelance designer.

Flyers / Posters designs
Flyer and poster designing that I have created as a freelance designer. Designed print advertisements, flyers, menus, sell sheets and point of purchase materials etc for many companies, organisations and local businesses; each time developing my CAD skills. Majority of my designs have been made using Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw and Gimp.

DVD cover designs
Whilst working for educational institutes I designed and art directed many of their DVD covers for the various adult courses they had to offer. Using a mixture of design packages I created covers that would attract the consumer educational market.

Logo signature designed for CEO of Avicenna Academy. Used as a stamp and emblem by the CEO. Logo says the name: Shaykh Atabek Shukurov Nasafi in Arabic
Book cover designs
Collaborated with publishers, editors, sales, marketing, publicity, and production departments to design and art direct visually effective and bestselling book cover designs — on-time and within budget.
This book authored by Shaykh Atabek Shukurov can be purchased on Amazon and the institute website. From the cover to the diagrams in the book were designed by myself. The book was released in 2015.
This is a hard copy of the "Hanafi principles of testing Hadith". Cover designed by myself.
Book is authored by Shaykh Atabek Shukurov and is in production. Soon to release in 2016.
Banner Designs
Designed stand up promotional banners attracting students to enrol onto online courses, while adhering to established corporate identity standards. The banner on the right was also designed for the school I was working for (Avicenna Academy) to attract parents to enrol onto the private academy.
Banner designed using Adobe Photoshop. Images were taken by myself using professional DSLR camera and then edited in Adobe Photoshop.

Prospectus/Brochure Designs
Whilsts working for academies and educational institutes I have designed their school and institute prospectuses. What you see below is a sample from a few pages of the prospectus designs I have designed from photographing digital images to dthe overall design and layout of the prospectuses. The "uniform" vector images you see below were created in Adobe Illustrator and the compilation and arrangement of the prospectus were completed in Adobe InDesign.

Web Banner Designs
Whilst working as a Trustee for Avicenna Academy School in Sheffield, I was also incharge of designing and developing the school website that would be accessed by students, staff and parents. The webiste had to be user friendly and also adhere to the corporate and religious look of the school.
